My Experience
I began my career in games as a developer on Moshi Monsters (Mind Candy) in 2008, getting my first taste of start-up life and the thrill of seeing something grow from a tiny beta to 80 million players.
In 2013 I founded my first business as a freelancer and worked with studios of all sizes. Highlights include Unity, MediaTonic and A Brave Plan.
In 2023 I co-founded Vesper as CTO and acting-CPO, leading the product team & production, while being deeply involved in design, operations & fundraising. We grew to 12 people and raised two rounds of seven-figure investment.
2025 sees me launch Goth Boss Studios to use all of this experience to help other founders and their businesses.
I host The Goth Boss Podcast - a show offering honest, friendly advice for people at all stages of their careers, from juniors to founders. It's available on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and wherever you get your podcasts.
Outside of my consultancy and coaching I’m a multidisciplinary creative across writing, art, and photography. I love all things spooky and gothic and can often be found lurking in the beautiful graveyards of Edinburgh. I have sold my gothic/fantasy fine art photography at galleries across Scotland and I’m currently writing my first novel; a vampire tale set in modern day Edinburgh.
